Built-in Safety

A 24-hour certified nursing staff, interior and exterior security cameras, controlled and monitored exit door access, audible alarms and community space sensors ensure that residents always have the assistance they need.

Digital Memory Boxes

Based on an established approach to today’s seniors with memory impairment, digital memory boxes are located outside each resident’s suite to help spark memories and engage the mind. These digital memory boxes are especially significant for residents who have issues with wayfinding. The memory boxes have the capability to either host a fixed image on the screen or continuously play a loop of multiple images, and families are given links to the memory boxes so they can directly update the photos whenever they want!

Color Coded Neighborhoods

Each neighborhood is designated a specific color scheme and features social areas, community kitchens and courtyard access. The distinct color of each neighborhood gives residents the freedom to move throughout the community while promoting familiarity so that they can find their way back to their personal spaces.

Fitness & Wellness Center

Continuously monitored by our Recreation Therapist, the Fitness & Wellness Center is home to group exercise classes, stretching sessions and personal training.

Monitored & Controlled Access

Ensuring residents’ safety is the number one priority at Cross Creek. Controlling who enters and leaves the community helps keep residents safe and allows them to move throughout the community.

Universal Design

Every room in the Cross Creek community is designed with memory and senior care in mind, including features such as wide hallways, wide doorways, walk-in showers with seats, elevated electrical outlets, elevated toilets, natural lighting and grab bars in showers. This intentional design goes beyond the marriage of form and function, resulting in an enriched, homelike atmosphere.

Alert Boxes

Alert boxes are located in strategic areas throughout residents’ personal living spaces so that if they ever feel like they need assistance, help will be there within minutes. Residents can also move the alert boxes throughout their rooms so they always have the ability to notify staff.

Both neighborhoods are equipped with community kitchens where snacks and beverages are provided at any time. These community kitchens also feature team cooking classes led by Cross Creek’s Recreation Therapist.

The Creekside Bistro is an open gathering place where residents can socialize with friends and family in a familiar and engaging environment. Our residents often meet here for breakfast to start the day off together.

Reading Nooks

The community has many comfortable reading nooks for residents who want to relax quietly while being in the presence of others.

Cross Creek offers residents the opportunity to take care of their pampering needs within their own home. From manicures to haircuts, our salon has everything residents need!

Our monitored walking paths provide areas for residents to remain active, connect with nature and socialize on the beautiful courtyards and patios.

Craft & Game Rooms

Many of Cross Creek’s daily activities include learning new crafting skills or playing games in the community’s Craft & Game Rooms. Socializing during game time is a definitely a resident favorite!
