While we try to focus on this every day at Cross Creek at Lee’s Summit Assisted Living | Memory Care, we have especially tried to extend support to caregivers throughout November’s National Family Caregivers Month.
Even though the Cross Creek community itself is created to benefit those with Alzheimer’s or dementia, it is our team of caretakers and the residents’ family and friends who continually help create a happy life for our residents.
With a 24 hour licensed nursing staff, a recreation therapist, dietitians and other field specialists, Cross Creek at Lee’s Summit has an expansive care team that goes above and beyond general memory care requirements. Additionally, our high nurse-to-resident ratio ensures that residents receive attentive, optimum care around the clock.
Residents’ family members and friends are also continuously visiting and helping care for our residents. It brightens our day when we see how happy residents get to see a familiar face!
In order to show our appreciation and support to all external caregivers, Cross Creek hosts frequent Memory Care Support Groups to provide knowledge and emotional support to family members and friends who are helping care for their loved ones.
We cannot give enough thanks to all of our staff members, family and friends for their dedication and compassion for our residents!
